Do you want to make your voice heard and strengthen relationships with Nebraska’s state Senators? Join us for Nebraska Travel Advocacy Day, a unique opportunity to advocate for the tourism industry and showcase its economic impact across the state.
We know that connecting with elected officials can feel intimidating.
What do you say? How do you navigate the Capitol? And what do you even do with your hands while you’re talking? That’s where we come in.
To bridge the gap between our industry and our elected leaders, the Nebraska Travel Association (NETA) is hosting Advocacy Day. We’ll gather in the Capitol’s main rotunda area and guide participants through door-to-door visits with Senators and their staff.
Armed with gifts, fact sheets, and helpful conversation starters, we’ll highlight the vital role tourism plays in driving Nebraska’s economy—contributing $322M in tax revenue annually and supporting vibrant local communities.
Whether you’re an experienced advocate or completely new to the process, this event is designed to help you connect, communicate, and collaborate effectively with legislators. By sharing your personal stories and insights, you’ll help us build stronger support for policies that benefit Nebraska’s tourism industry.
Make plans to join us on February 13th and be part of this important initiative. Together, we can ensure tourism remains a powerful driver of Nebraska’s economy and a cornerstone of its communities.
